You may have heard of the crisis in the bee population worldwide. Various theories, including a bee virus, or the huge swathes of crops that don’t require pollination, have been put forward to explain the loss. However a recent paper from the EPA in the US suggests that the major loss of honey bees was caused by use of pesticides harmful to the bees.
